Polkamarkets Audit Report (Hacken)
We are happy to announce that the Polkamarkets Protocol has been audited by Hacken and passed. Architecture Review, Functional Testing, Computer-Aided Verification, and a Manual Review, were performed on Polkamarkets’ smart contract.
This article is made to help our community understand what audits are being done and detail some important aspects of each audit. It will be updated as we learn more about the various audits in progress and you can check its status below:
✅ Hacken Audit Passed
Hacken OÜ (Consultant) was contracted by Polkamarkets (Customer) to conduct a Smart Contract Code Review and Security Analysis. The report presents the findings of the security assessment of Polkamarkets’ smart contract and its code review conducted between September 17th, 2021 — September 28th, 2021. The second code review was conducted on October 6th, 2021. (read more)
Smart contracts within the scope were manually reviewed and analyzed with static analysis tools.
After the final review, security engineers considered Polkamarkets’ prediction markets’ protocol as Well-secured.
Status of other Audits:
✅ Certik Audit Passed
In this auditing process, a comprehensive examination has been performed, utilizing Static Analysis and Manual Review techniques. A report has been prepared for Polkamarkets to discover issues and vulnerabilities in the source code of the Polkamarkets project as well as any contract dependencies that were not part of an officially recognized library. ✅ Red4Sec Audit Passed
The general conclusion resulting from the conducted audit is that Polkamarket’s smart contract is secure. There were a few highlights and possible improvements mentioned, these do not pose any risk by themselves and have been classified as informative only, but they will help us to continue to improve the security and quality of the protocol.
