We are happy to announce that the Polkamarkets Protocol has been audited by Hacken and passed. Architecture Review, Functional Testing, Computer-Aided Verification, and a Manual Review, were performed on Polkamarkets’ smart contract.
This article is made to help our community understand what audits are being done and detail some important aspects of each audit. It will be updated as we learn more about the various audits in progress and you can check its status below:
✅ Hacken Audit Passed
Hacken OÜ (Consultant) was contracted by Polkamarkets (Customer) to conduct a Smart Contract Code Review and Security Analysis. The report presents the findings of the security assessment of Polkamarkets’ smart contract and its code review conducted between September 17th, 2021 — September 28th, 2021. Smart contracts within the scope were manually reviewed and analyzed with static analysis tools.
After the final review, security engineers considered Polkamarkets’ prediction markets’ protocol as Well-secured.
Red4Sec is a business initiative, formed by experts and security analysts with many years of experience in the Cybersecurity sector. This audit is done and passed. However, we’re still waiting for a report to be shared.
Leading blockchain auditing firm Certik is well underway with a full-scale security audit of Polkamarkets’ code for Mainnet to ensure full functionality, stability, and security for users. Certik’s audit is being finalized.
ConsenSys is the software engineering leader of the blockchain space and trusted by the world’s leading organizations. Our forecast is that this audit will take place in 2022.
